MCP Configuration Guide
Tip: In addition to FiraClaw's built-in MCP services, you can also find more development-related MCP services on the MCP World website.
1. Overview
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is FiraClaw's core extension mechanism, allowing agents to interact with external systems and services. By configuring MCP services, you can endow agents with more capabilities, such as operating desktop software, accessing network resources, etc.
2. MCP Service Types
FiraClaw supports multiple types of MCP services:
- Built-in MCP: System-provided MCP services, such as Oculos desktop operation service
- Official MCP: Official recommended MCP services downloaded from the MCP marketplace
- Custom MCP: Privately created MCP services by users
3. Configuring MCP Services
3.1 Built-in MCP Configuration
- Click MCP Services in the left menu.
- Find the service that needs configuration in the built-in MCP list (such as Oculos desktop operation).
- Click the Configure button and complete the configuration according to the prompts.
- Click the Enable button to activate the MCP service.
3.2 Downloading MCP from Marketplace
- Click the Marketplace tab at the top of the MCP service page.
- Browse official provided MCP services and select the service you need.
- Click the Download button and wait for the download to complete.
- After downloading, the MCP service will be automatically added to your MCP list.
- Click the Configure button to complete the necessary settings.
3.3 Manually Creating MCP
- Click the New MCP button in the upper right corner of the MCP service page.
- Fill in the basic MCP service information:
- Name: Name of the MCP service for easy identification
- Description: Functional description of the MCP service
- Type: Select the type of MCP service
- Configuration: Fill in the corresponding configuration parameters based on MCP type
- Click the Save button to create the MCP service.
- Click the Enable button to activate the MCP service.
4. Assigning MCP Services to Agents
- Go to the Agent configuration page.
- Select the agent that needs configuration and click the Edit button.
- In the Capabilities Extension tab, check the MCP services to assign to that agent.
- Click the Save button to complete configuration.
5. MCP Service Management
5.1 Viewing MCP Status
In the MCP service list, you can see the status of each MCP service:
- Enabled: MCP service is running
- Disabled: MCP service is stopped
- Configuration Error: MCP service configuration is incorrect and cannot run normally
5.2 Editing MCP Service
- In the MCP service list, find the service that needs to be edited.
- Click the Edit button to modify the MCP service configuration.
- Click the Save button to apply changes.
5.3 Deleting MCP Service
- In the MCP service list, find the service that needs to be deleted.
- Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion.
- Note: Built-in MCP services cannot be deleted.

Q1: What to do if MCP service shows "Configuration Error"?
A: Click the Edit button to check and correct the MCP service configuration parameters. If the problem persists, please refer to the MCP service documentation or contact official support.
Q2: How to test if MCP service is working normally?
A: In the MCP service list, find the service that needs to be tested and click the Test button. The system will execute basic connection tests and display the test results.
Q3: Can I enable multiple MCP services simultaneously?
A: Yes, you can enable multiple MCP services simultaneously. Agents will automatically select the appropriate MCP service based on task requirements.
Q4: Will MCP services consume additional system resources?
A: Yes, each MCP service will consume certain system resources. It is recommended to only enable MCP services you actually need to optimize system performance.
