Token Usage Statistics

1. Overview

The Token usage statistics feature helps you understand the Token consumption when FiraClaw uses AI models, giving you a clearer understanding of model usage.

2. Viewing Token Usage

1. Click Token Usage in the left menu.
2. On the Token usage page, you can see the following information:
   • Total Usage: Total number of Tokens used cumulatively
   • Today's Usage: Number of Tokens used today
   • Last 7 Days: Token usage trend chart for the last 7 days
   • Agent Usage: Token usage for each agent
   • Model Usage: Token usage for different models

3. Token Usage Statistics Description

• Statistics Method: Client locally statistics API returned Token consumption
• Statistics Scope: Includes all scenarios using AI models such as agent conversations and task execution
• For Reference Only: Statistics are for reference only, actual settlement shall prevail according to each API backend data
• Data Storage: Token usage data is stored locally and will not be uploaded to the cloud

4. Optimizing Token Usage

4.1 Reduce Unnecessary Conversations

• Avoid discussing multiple unrelated topics in one session
• For complex tasks, consider creating dedicated agents to handle them
• Reasonably set session timeout to avoid occupying model resources for extended periods

4.2 Optimize Model Selection

• For simple tasks, use lightweight models
• For complex tasks, use more capable models
• Choose the most suitable model based on the specific purpose of the agent

4.3 Optimize Instruction Quality

• Provide clear, specific instructions
• Avoid vague or ambiguous expressions
• For complex tasks, issue instructions in steps

A: Token usage statistics are based on information returned by the API. Statistics are for reference only, actual settlement shall prevail according to each API backend data.

A: In the "Agent Usage" section on the Token usage page, you can see the Token usage for each agent.

Q3: Can I set Token usage limits?

A: Currently, FiraClaw does not support setting Token usage limits. We recommend using AI models reasonably based on actual needs.

Q4: How long will Token usage data be kept?

A: Token usage data will be stored locally until you manually clean it up. You can configure the data cleanup cycle in settings.
